I live my life in Krasnogvardeyskoe, Adyghea, Russian Federation. It’s not a city — it is a small village of population about 10,000. Most people here don’t connect their lives with IT, but so do I. I am a web programmer (not yet graduated), also I have some experience in UNIX. I have UNIX-related job — I work as a system administrator. My tasks include supporting some network services: postfix, dovecot, OpenLDAP, ejabberd. I use Arch Linux on my MSI S430-031 laptop, but I also feel comfortable with many other Linux types and FreeBSD operating system.
Of course, my work and studying place is not Krasnogvardeyskoe. It is Maykop, the capital of Adyghea. It’s a town of population about 170,000. There is my university, Adyghe State University, located.
Krasnogvardeyskoe is a beautiful place. It’s beauty is it’s small size — there is no city noise and the air is very fresh.

The distance between Krasnogvardeyskoe & Maykop is a little more than 70km. I often move between these towns with a bus. The next photo was taken near my living place.

I’ve made these photos with my mobile, Nokia 5000. Mobile means very much for me in my daily life. First of all, it is my gateway to the Jabber/XMPP network. I have Bombus installed and I can spend many hours chatting with it. Of course, I also use my mobile to make calls and send SMS messages, but it is not the main purpose.
Most of my friends are my online friends in Jabber. Some of them are russian people, the others are indonesians. I also have a few contacts in Algeria, France and USA. My online communication is not limited by Jabber — I also have Yahoo & MSN addresses and, of course, I have my pages in some social networks like facebook and last.fm.
I like to talk to the people who are much younger than me, but most of my contacts are much older than me. It is easier to talk to the older people, but I always feel a little lonely with them. Of course, some of my friends are of the same age.
I am usually very unhappy, because I don’t know anybody who knows how to make me happy; because all the girls are not like I imagined in my childhood and because all the world is just like shit. It’s pain given by those whom I never expected it from, and it’s the most terrible feeling I’ve ever felt.
I adore music, mainly French and Indonesian. My favorite singers are Anggun, Yelle, Ilona Mitrecey, Gita Gutawa and many others. I have Ingrid’s autograph and I have Ilona Mitrecey’s contact in my Jabber roster. Even more — In-Grid has a cd with my name written on it ;). Music always plays in my headphones/speakers when I am busy programming. It doesn’t bother me at all. The best guide in the world of my music is my last.fm page. I use an amplifier «Вега 10У-120С» from Soviet Union.

Some day one of my friends asked me what software would I use if I had to use Windows operating system. So, here is my response.
