The new yelle.fr is great, but I miss the old rounded menu… Very nice idea, never saw anything like that before and after that… By the way, Tepr now has official site, too.
Tired of work… Managing Jabber/XMPP server, experimenting with some new things, coding in jsmart’s software projects, writing a small article for a competition… All these things take too much time, so much that jsmart’s girls often get angry about me because I don’t dedicate my time for them. I think it’s my fate in this project and I have to be patient about it. It is inevitable in my role.
By the way, does anybody here know erlang well? I have a little task to solve with ejabberd’s mnesia data dump and I need some help… Of course, I can write a parser for those data in any other language, but I just simply think that it is a very basic task for an erlang programmer, when it is really hard to make with other language. If you can help, please ask me in support room about it…
Power of nimbuzzers’ DoS attack that occupies entire Jabber/XMPP network nowadays, is nicely shown on many rrdtool graphs like this one. Admins of many Jabber servers still don’t know that their servers became huge gateways for shit, not for conversations. I’m really wondering about 2 things — why don’t Jabber servers admins worldwide make anything to stop the attack and why do stupid nimbuzzers perform it… They are all like little children who haven’t plaid enough in childhood. Because I am a very selfish person, I send these words to nimbuzz flooders: suck my dick, idiots :)
Today was some downtime with jsmart due to a serious problem with the hoster. Now everything is solved, but the downtime was really very long. I strongly hope this problem will not occur again.
Today my great friend from Indonesia decided to install Ubuntu onto his desktop PC. He already had some experience with Ubuntu VDS and made his mind to try it as home operating system… He lives in a small town, so he had to go to Cirebon to buy an Ubuntu CD (Available network connection in his town was too slow to download a CD image). I answerred many of his questions, but I had forgotten to notify him that there are 2 Ubuntu versions may be available in a shop — for 32 and 64-bit PC. Aaaah, misfortune — he failed to install Ubuntu into VirtualBox environment under Windows OS which emulates a 32 bit PC. I asked him about his processor type and he said that he had Pentium IV. After that I became twice sad… But he rebooted and successfully started installer on the master PC. Yeah, Pentium IV can be 64 bit, I didn’t know about that :)

Oh, crazy life! I have found an Indonesian web service that accepts WebMoney payments %)
At least 3 great improvements are planned for SmartCommunity’s service. The first of them will be introduced next few days, just stay tuned. Of course, the new features will be available for all virtual hosts’ users.
The new SmartCommunity’s projects are to be presented on student conference in the Adyghe State University (Russia) on April, 21.
Time goes away and I feel that every day my great friend from the past becomes further and further. I still don’t understand what did I say or make wrong and I am not sorry. I had only ocean of kindness in my mind and I don’t realize why it was needed to turn it into ocean of missing. I don’t consider kindness to be a bad feeling in any way. I just simply miss my first and last Serbian friend, and when I ask myself what was my mistake, my answer is that I beleived my friend too much. She was a person whom I was very sure about. I cannot feel happy without somebody whom I beleive. Also sometimes I want to chose whom to beleive.
A few minutes ago I had my first mobile phone call in Indonesian language. The dialogue was pretty short, but it was the first time when I’ve said more than 0 Indonesian words by phone. By the way, the person who called me was Mawar Aryani, the person whose name the mawar project is dedicated to.
Today I have made many maintenance tasks: moving Miko’s blog to free shared web hosting, updating phpBB at shamangrad’s forum, setting up secondary DNS at us5.jsmart.web.id to use it instead of twisted4life.com. All of my ru and net.ru domains, including id-grid4ever.ru, have been switched to the new secondary DNS, so now I can be more sure about it’s successful delegation next time.
Some people ask me where is my old blog in Russian. It is still available, but I am going to delete it next some weeks. As about the posts — I will save them all to an XML file formatted as an RSS feed or something like that. The RSS feed will be also available for the new English blog.
During last some months I see strange thing — Jabber chatters stop using Jabber and switch to Facebook chat. I try to understand what reasons make people to make such decidion and I think that Jabber (as implemented in BombusMod, Psi, Gajim and other popular applications) does not provide anything like facebook’s games. The games is the thing that makes facebook nicer for users.
